After the experience obtained with the celebration of NEPAL WORKSHOP during the past month of September 2022, once this professional meeting of various sectors of the economy of Nepal ended, we came to the conclusion that we should hold a new promotional meeting to promote the potential of growth of the Handicrafts of Nepal. This has been our original purpose since the growth potential of the artisan sector in Nepal has a long way to go since it has not yet reached its maximum potential and instead it is a sector that exports the style and culture of a country with its products. as rich and plural as Nepal is.

The economy of Nepal needs the contribution from the exports of its handicrafts which are made daily in Nepal, so we must help to maximize the export of Nepali handicrafts to all countries of the world. ATEP-Nepal, when announcing the new project to return to Spain to promote the rich and varied crafts of Nepal together with the SPAIN-NEPAL Friendship Association, has attended the request for participation of companies related to the tourism sector in Nepal, by what our call has evolved to add our promotional efforts with the collaboration of these two sectors that are so important in the economy of Nepal, Crafts & Tourism, as a result of this agreement and for this reason the promotional fair next September 2023 has been renamed: NEPAL, Crafts and Tourism

Given the extraordinary geographical characteristics of Nepal, the only country in the world that has 8 of the 14 highest peaks in the world.
Every year Nepal receives a significant number of tourists that grows and grows since the nature that Nepal offers has so many attractions to attract tourism from all over the world.

Nepal offers us growth potential for cultural, sports and religious tourism like few other countries can offer. The attraction of international tourism is a task that boosts the economy of Nepal in a very decisive way, which is why ATEP-Nepal and the SPAIN-NEPAL Friendship Association always have our doors open for the participation of the Nepalese tourism sector that attends these meetings in Spain to capture the tourism potential offered by the Spanish market. Both Nepal and Spain are two first class tourist destinations and Nepalese tourism professionals not only come to Spain with the purpose of capturing the tourist market, they also do so with the purpose of knowing and learning about the Spanish tourism industry, which is why we have chosen the town of TORROX (Málaga), as a meeting point, a point that unites both the experiences of Andalusian crafts together with the great tourist experience of the Costa del Sol. For all these reasons we believe that this next promotional fair that we will celebrate from September 8th. to 11th., 2023, will be a magnificent opportunity to promote Nepalese crafts and tourism in a corner of Spain as endearing as TORROX (Málaga) and the Costa del Sol (Andalusia - Spain).
